Dadachanji is a Director at KPMG, one of the “Big Four” public
accounting firms. Cyrus works in KPMG’s treasury and financial
risk management advisory practice based in Los Angeles, California,
and specializes in helping clients manage their commodity, energy and
other financial risks. Cyrus has worked with diverse clients including
utilities, oil and gas companies, automotive companies, mining companies
and mortgage banks. He has managed numerous large-scale engagements
and has worked internationally in Canada, UK, Germany, Switzerland
and Hong Kong, as well as the US. Cyrus has worked at KPMG almost three
years.
Prior to joining KPMG as a consultant, Cyrus spent 15 years with oil
major BP and Amoco working in a variety of positions including planning,
refinery supply, oil trading and risk management. Cyrus started his
career with BP in London, UK before moving to Chicago in 1997, and
finally to Los Angeles in 2000 to manage supply and trading integration
efforts following BP’s merger with Arco. Cyrus graduated with
a BSc. in Physics from the University of Bristol.
In addition to his work as a consultant, Cyrus enjoys classical music
and plays the violin. Prior to studying Physics, he spent a year at
London’s Guildhall School of Music studying Violin performance.
