Richard S. Chow is currently a Vice President at Citibank/Citigroup,
a Fortune-10 Company. A majority of Richard’s career has
been in software development and management. At Citibank, he is the Region
Manager/VP for the EMEA (Europe Middle East Africa) Global Internet Banking
Program, overseeing the implementation of various banking software applications
and systems platforms. Since 2000, Richard and his team have enabled
the business to achieve significant results including implementing Internet
service to 9 countries, increased customer/deposit acquisitions, and
reduced cost by off loading traditional bricks & mortar services
to Internet self service. At present, over 50% of total financial transitions
are executed via Internet in the region. He has been with Citigroup for
11 years. Prior to Citibank, Richard provided his information systems
expertise as a manager at Great Western Bank, and at a subsidiary of
Lockheed where he pioneered the creation of CAD/CAM software products. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California
State University Northridge.
In addition to his business acumen, Richard is also an artist in Fine Arts Photography. His work has been shown in galleries and he has sold numerous limited edition pieces to collectors. Most recently in 2007 -- he is honored to exhibit and be represented by LACMA (Los Angeles Country Museum of Art) Art Rental & Sales (ARSG) Gallery. His images, along with works from other exceptional artists, can be viewed at the ARSG gallery. These works are available for purchase or rental, with a portion of the proceeds going to support LACMA. NIKON Japan selected “Twilight,” a photographic image by Richard for the 2007 Nikon Photo Contest International (NPCI) Calendar. The internationally distributed 2007 calendar is composed of 13 photographs selected from the annual Nikon Photo Contest 2004-2005 which received 31,000 entries from 117 countries. “Twilight” is featured in the month of November.
