Writer, Performer, Arts Educator
Jesse
Bliss is a 15 year veteran of arts education. She has worked with several
award-winning organizations such as We Tell Stories, The Robey Theatre
Company, Each One Reach One, East Bay Performing Arts Center,
Performing Arts Workshop, Enrichment Works, J.U.I.C.E and Inside OUT
Writers.
She is fluent in Spanish and also writes and performs internationally, much of her work exploring the juvenile justice system and societal structure that denies many children their basic rights and needs.
Her work has been produced and performed at venues such as the Endinburgh Festival, The United Nations on International Women’s Day, UCLA, and CASA 0101 to name a few. Jesse is passionate about bringing high quality arts programming to high-risk and at risk-youth and is delighted and honored to be on board with CreateNow!
