Robin Garfield
Development Director
Robin Garfield is currently the Director of Development for Create Now! Robin was born in Brooklyn, New York and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Hofstra University, in Hempstead, New York with a degree in Theatre and Psychology.
Robin’s background in fundraising, events, marketing and business development is extensive. Prior to Create Now!, Robin was Vice President of Development for Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY), where she initiated many new donor programs, grants and large event fundraisers for this international youth leadership organization.
Before HOBY, Robin worked in the for-profit arena as General Manager and Director of Business Development at Intermix Media, overseeing two web companies. She also worked at Interactive Corp as a member of the National Media Sales Team, overseeing product development, sales training and supporting marketing, for IAC companies including Ticketmaster, Ticketmaster.com, Evite.com, Citysearch.com, and Reserveamerica.com.
Robin’s non-profit career started as Associate Director of Sales and Marketing for the international non-profit Up With People for several years, including working in almost 20 countries throughout Europe and North America. Robin currently resides in Redondo Beach, CA and enjoys tennis, traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her husband Eric and dog, Coby.
