Create Now! Thanks the
Hilton Hotels Corporation

We're delighted to announce that the Hilton Hotels Corporation has generously given a grant for the Create Now! Take heART program. Thanks to their support, we were able to bring Create Now!’s therapeutic art program to 20 teenage girls that have been abused, neglected, abandoned and orphaned. With help from the Hilton Hotel Corporation Foundation, Create Now! was able to facilitate two different art workshops at Vista Del Mar for groups of 10 teenage girls in the Spring and Winter of 2006.  Our mentor, artist Hilary Sloane, taught the girls a variety of arts projects, such as photography, collage, make-up and T-shirt design. Originally an eight-week class, we were able to extend the program to a 10-week workshop, due to the excitement and interest of the young women.
