Create Now! Art Contest

Create Now! sponsored a Christmas Art Contest for a number of youth at Children's Institute. This facility is a nonprofit organization located near downtown Los Angeles that specializes in the treatment and prevention of child abuse and neglect, providing healing and support so that traumatized children can recover and lead healthy lives.

Thanks to a generous donation from Disney Hand Worldwide Outreach, 11 year-old Leslie Herrera won tickets to any Disney theme park. In addition, Create Now! presented her with a special "Certificate of Excellence" so that she would have a lasting souvenir of her success.

"When I first heard about the art contest, I thought it was a joke. But actually that wasn't true! I was so surprised. We're gonna go to Disneyland for my mom's birthday. I can't wait!"

Leslie and her family had an opportunity to experience Disneyland for the first time, thanks to Create Now!
