We are so grateful to Psomas, one of the largest engineering consulting firms in the nation, for donating the proceeds from their 11th Annual “Paper Yacht Challenge” to Create Now. This popular event took place on April 18th in the large fountain at the City National Plaza complex – in the heart of the DTLA business district.
One of the best parts of this event was seeing the 18 children and their parents who face homelessness at the Union Rescue Mission in Skid Row. These kids had a blast and it’s something they won’t forget.
We’re grateful to the volunteers who contributed their time through Create Now, and the employees at Psomas who also put in a lot of work to make this such a successful event.
