Opportunities

We find unique opportunities for youth that we continually promote through our vast network of over 1,000 youth agencies in the Southern California region. We connect high-risk and at-risk kids with a wide variety of internships, jobs, scholarships, auditions, workshops and career guidance.

We also promote arts competitions in music, video, writing and the visual arts. Some of these notices are aimed at particular groups, such as Latino youth, homeless youngsters, African-American students, or foster kids.

For example, Create Now recently promoted a Youth Workforce Training Certificate Program at Children's Institute, as well as family therapy for participants on a TV show, workshops for youth who want to start a nonprofit organization, and competitions in poetry, singing, art, photography, heritage posters and essays, as well as free backpacks with school supplies. Our fax and email blasts target tens of thousands of vulnerable youth.
